Keeping Teeth White

Keeping Teeth White

How can you keep your teeth sparkly and pearly white? Here’s some easy to follow tips:

Avoid Any Foods That May Stain Your Teeth
Foods with many different pigments such as soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and many varieties of berries and cherries will stain your teeth. If these foods cannot be avoided then it’s recommended that you just brush your teeth immedietely following consuming any of them

Water Is Your Friend!
Stains are easily preventable by simple swishing a mouthful of water around your mouth immedietely following any eating or drinking of a staining food or beverage.

Straws Are Also Your Friend
Coffee, red wine and different types of cola (and other dark soft drinks) can cause staining as can teas and cranberry juice. If you use a straw with these drinks than you will allow for the staining liquids to completely bypass the front teeth. And that’s a good thing!

Eat Crunchy Foods
Apples, celery and other types of crunchy foods will remove food particles in your teeth and help to prevent stains. Sticky foods are also more likely to cause staining then help prevent it.
